Our 2010 season was fabulous. Thanks to you I did many wonderful things. I moved from the 46th overall world standing to the 6th. I participated in the Vancouver Olympics and earned a diploma by coming in 7th with the 3d best qualifying time. In the Aspen X Games I placed 4th and did many other great results. Your support was crucial to my success. Thank you all very much. This season is starting out also very strong with another big trip to the Junior World Championships in New Zealand. Then the regular World Cup season starts in Europe culminating in the World Championships in Dear Valley Utah. I really look forward to rewarding your support by improving as much as I can.

The 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver are just around the corner. Thanks to your support and a lot of work Fanny has a real chance of being selected in the Swiss Skicross Team to represent Switzerland at the Olympics.

Fanny’s 2008/2009 season was a bit funny.  She started out great but injured herself while training on her third race. The rest of the season she spent hanging on. Participating injured in a few europa cup races. Fanny was in so much pain that she would race and take the lifts back down. She fell back to the 40th place in the world standings but thought the experience she gained was worth it. The end of the season got better and better. Fanny finally finished second in the Swiss Championships and did a couple more top 3 finishes.

A big trip to Australia and the start of the 2009/2010 season went well 1st & 3d in her first two races there.

Fanny is really looking forward to showing you what she can do when the real winter season begins.

Dear Sponsors & Friends,

We would like to thank all of those who helped make Fanny’s work and dreams become reality last year. With your encouragement and a lot of devotion on Fanny’s part she has achieved the goals she set herself for the 2007/2008 season. She is as motivated as ever and seems well positioned to meet her 2008/2009 goals.

As a top athlete she has been selected to attend the NLZ (National Leistungs Zentrum) in Brig. There she can follow an academic cursus as well as be given the necessary time to train and ski. This season the Swiss National Team will let Fanny participate in some World Cup Races depending on her results on the Europa Cup circuit.

Thanks to your help we have hired a technical coach to help her specifically prepare for Ski Cross racing. She is only sixteen so this is particularly important before she can be set free to go alone with the older girls of the Swiss Team. Fanny is also preparing herself physically and mentally with specialized help just for SkierCross competition.

Last year we recruited more sponsors and met our financial goals. We hope we can count on you for the 2008/2009 season and further to 2014. The 2008/2009 season will be a critical season for 2010. January & Febuary 2009 will be Fanny’s important months (FIS Schedual).

The number of races Fanny can participate in will directly depend on the funds we raise. If one breaks down the total year round cost of Fanny’s training, transport and equipment one averages between 15 & 20 thousand dollars per race (respectively 20 to 15 races per season).

We are paying her school, room and board in Brig and most of her equipement. The major other costs, transport, room and board for Fanny & Coach to races, salary for her part time coach, salary for her part time physical and mental coaches, physiotherapist and the rest of her equipment are paid for by you and the money we raise together.

One of our sponsors helped us prepare a présentation of Fanny’s time schedual for 2008/2009 ( Fanny Program 2008-2009 V10 copy ). This was great. We want to be prepared and will be needing managing, marketing and negotiating skills in the near future.

Dear Friends,

Fanny’s aim is to participate in the ski cross events of the 2010 Vancouver winter Olympics. At her present level with extra physical and technical training she stands a real chance of achieving this if not in the winter Olympics of 2014. What is Ski Cross? Ski Cross Video Ladies . We write you this letter to solicit your financial help so she can afford to receive this extra training. Down the line she will need negotiating, managing and marketing help. Maybe one of you might be interested in such a post.

We have found a physical trainer who is willing to work with her for three years. We are looking for a technical trainer. Then we need to cover transport costs for her.

We will continue paying for her equipement 8 pairs of skis per year, her training with the Association Romande de Ski, extra camps they organize and her transport room and board costs for those camps. Jean-Daniel Dätwyler is helping to preapare Fanï’s skis for every race.

As things go along and with proper advice we should be able to recruit additional sponsors. For now we are aiming for 70’000 fr.- per year. This may not be enough so all the help Fanny could get would be greatly appreciated.
